Enlightenments

Enlightenments is an in-camera digital photo shot without any processing afterward project series.

With Enlightenments Ian's artistic research continues on the elements at the base of the images: light, colors, form, composition, time... And specifically - continuing in his talk-walk of witnessing contemporaneity - with the use of today equipment, such as the digital image acquisition systems, that we all use, to photograph non-posing people, objects or situations in order to extract the synthesis, the visible sense that is not immediately perceptible or comprehensible.

In this series, the artist's experimentation is based on light and lights as subjects or as a mean that create and modify shapes.
